Is Providence Women's Recovery Right for You?
The Providence Women’s Center for Recovery, located 45 minutes north of Atlanta, Georgia, was created to fill the huge unmet void of affordable Christian drug and alcohol rehab for women only. Our model of recovery is based on two separate but related concepts which, put simply, can be surmised as spiritual restoration with clinical methods.
When we couldn't find an affordable Christ-based recovery center for women only, we decided to create one ourselves.
That was in 2012 and since then, Providence Women's Recovery has become a nationally known safe haven for women seeking a life free from drug and alcohol addiction. Women have come to Georgia from as far away as Hawaii and Alaska to enter our recovery program.
We place a significant amount of time and energy addressing the special types of traumas and self-defeating behaviors that women seem to experience more than their male counterparts, such as guilt and self-condemnation.
Achieving Sobriety is Only the Beginning
Our recovery program is designed to address not only addiction, but the specific emotional issues and trauma that often lead a woman to addiction. When these issues are addressed and resolved, long term healing, recovery, and transformation happen, making relapse less likely.
Learning how to live in victory and recovery while healing from a past full of hurts and hang-ups is the real challenge and is precisely what our program aims to do.
People struggling with alcohol and chemical addictions often let their pain and failures define their identity, how they view themselves, and what they base their future choices on…
We help women let go of the false beliefs that continually trap them into addiction and depression and we open the door to God's truth about their true identity in Christ.
The cumulative result of our work together is a life-changing spiritual transformation which we know to be key to "long-term stand firm recovery."
