Graduates From ANY DRUG REHAB Are Welcome to Apply for the OMC Sober Living Program at Providence Ministries

Graduation Day at “The Camp” is a day we cherish and celebrate, marking an important milestone in the recovery journey. Unfortunately, at this stage, many programs have limited options for what follows.
In the worst-case scenario, individuals may have to go back to their original environment, where they will face the same temptations that initially led to their drug addiction.
At Our Masters Camp, You Have the Chance to Grow Away!
We believe that to truly gain the practical living skills and confidence needed to continue their journey in Christ, achieve victory, and recover, individuals will need support in safely and sustainably reintegrating into society.
Therefore, we are pleased to offer graduates of a Christian treatment center the opportunity to join our transitional housing program in Dalton, Georgia with our parent organization, Providence Ministries Inc. At “Providence,” our graduates have the chance to grow away, rather than just go away, giving them the best opportunity to truly overcome addiction.
What Makes Our Christ Based “Post Treatment” Sober Living Program Unique
Offer continued Biblical education and growth, as well as emotions-related processing groups and relapse prevention training.
Provide the opportunity to outreach and volunteer in our local Christian initiatives and offer college courses with Tennessee Temple University.
Have a great staff that includes a chaplain, a reverend, counselors, and a chef, as well as a multitude of guest speakers and local volunteers.
Offer free breakfast, lunch, dinner, picnics, BBQ’s, and fellowship opportunities.
Make available a computer lab with internet for job search or school and college work.
And… because so many of our graduates transition to Providence, they get the luxury of having an accountability group from day one.
What the Transition Program Asks of Our Participants
The transition program at Providence Ministries is designed to help recent graduates of any addiction program safely reintegrate into society while continuing to strengthen their recovery foundation.
Participants in the program must secure employment, pay rent, attend weekly recovery meetings, and participate in spiritual and church activities.
The program includes basic house rules aimed at enhancing discipline and gradually easing restrictions through an "incentivized restrictions reduction" approach.
Members are encouraged to spend time with their families and take weekend passes that the house manager approves as "recovery safe."
Providence Ministries owns an apartment complex where the men reside. The apartments are fully furnished, with meals provided on our main campus. Each apartment is shared with only one other roommate. The property also includes washers and dryers, a workout room, and a friendly face to chat with over coffee!
There is no restriction on the length of stay for program participants. Some stay for 3-6 months, while a few have been with us for several years. Those who stay longer may choose to take on leadership roles.
Whatever goals God places on your heart, we view success as achieving a productive transition to a safe and stable lifestyle that aligns with God’s plan for your life.
