Meet Our Team

Ben Parrish

Ben Parrish, Director, LADAC II

Ben Parrish is a passionate advocate for those overcoming addiction and a committed leader in Gospel Ministry. Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Ben grew up attending Central Baptist Church Bearden and graduated from the Christian Academy of Knoxville. His personal struggle with addiction led him to a transformative experience at Our Master’s Camp in 2010, where God awoke him to the beauty and worth of Jesus Christ and equipped him with needed tools and skills. This experience became the turning point in Ben’s life, leading him to dedicate his life to helping others find freedom from addiction through Christ-centered recovery. In 2012, Ben answered the call to Gospel Ministry. After serving in various roles, he became the Program Director at Our Master’s Camp in 2016. As a licensed alcohol and drug abuse counselor (LADC II) in Tennessee, Ben has built a career helping men break free from the chains of addiction. From 2020 to 2022, he pastored This Way Church in Dayton, TN, a church devoted to bringing hope and healing to the local recovery community. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University. His own recovery journey, combined with his deep love for Christ, fuels his unwavering commitment to helping others discover faith and find healing. Ben’s greatest joy is guiding men along the path of recovery, helping them rebuild their lives with purpose and grace. Ben and his wife, Sarah, are the proud parents of three young children: Gracibeth (7), Bishop (5), and Boone (7 mo). If you made him choose a life verse, it would be Romans 8:28 because he has watched God turn an impossibly bad situation into a life-giving ministry that brings hope to others.

CJ Gary

CJ Gary, LADAC II

CJ Gary is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC II) in Tennessee. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Substance Abuse Counseling and will complete his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in December 2025. Upon graduation, he will also earn his National Certified Counselor (NCC) credential and is actively pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) certification. CJ is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the American Counseling Association. CJ’s journey into counseling is deeply personal. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, he came to Our Master’s Camp as a client in 2015. After completing the program, he served as a volunteer staff member and later returned in 2020 to serve men walking the same road he once traveled. His own recovery and faith journey have shaped a compassionate, hope-filled approach to counseling that emphasizes both accountability and grace. With years of experience in addiction treatment and recovery, CJ provides both individual and group counseling using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He also teaches relapse prevention and early recovery skills, drawing on several proven resources including SAMHSA, Terrence Gorski’s relapse prevention framework, and The Genesis Project. A key part of CJ’s work includes family counseling, recognizing that true healing extends beyond the individual to the entire family system. CJ and his wife, Kendall, have been married for six years and have a daughter, EmmaClaire. His life verse, Joel 2:25, serves as a daily reminder of God’s power to redeem and restore: “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten.”

Dr Les Warren

Dr. Les Warren, Theologian-Teacher

Dr. Les Warren was born in Corpus Christi, TX, and raised in a Christian home. He was saved at the age of seven under the preaching of Lester Roloff and baptized in the Second Baptist Church. His educational training consists of a B.A. degree at Tennessee Temple College; MRE at Temple Baptist Theological Seminary; M.A.BS at Dallas Theological Seminary; and a D. Min. at Luther Rice Seminary. While pursuing an engineering career, he answered the call to the Gospel ministry. Dr. & Mrs. Warren both served almost 20 years with Bluewater Bible College, St. Thomas (1963-1982) in both faculty and administrative positions. He was the associate pastor (1964-1977) and pastor (1977-1981) of Calvary Baptist Church, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. During his pastorate the church moved to its present location. Upon returning to the U.S. he was professor of Bible Studies at Luther Rice Seminary, Jacksonville, FL (1990-2003). While in Florida he held several church positions in various churches, the last being pastor of Colonial Baptist Church (1993-2003). Since moving to Tennessee in 2003, Biblical Insights Ministry has been fully organized to provide assistance to small churches in the U.S. and overseas. This is done through Bible Conferences, revivals, training seminars, church literature, and workshops that are provided with little or no cost to the churches.

Trace Lowe

Trace Lowe, CPRS

Trace Lowe, a lifelong resident of Bledsoe County, Tennessee, is a lived-experience expert and proof that God can redeem even the most broken lives. After spending more than 20 years in and out of addiction, he entered treatment in 2022 and, by God’s grace, has remained sober and passionate about recovery ever since. As the camp’s Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS), Trace facilitates groups, leads psychoeducation classes, and guides meaningful discussions. He models a healthy recovery lifestyle and provides encouragement and hope to every man who comes through the doors of Our Master’s Camp. Serving as both mentor and coach, he empowers men to take ownership of their recovery journey. Today, Trace considers it a blessing that his past allows him to connect with clients in a way only another person in recovery can. One of his greatest blessings in recovery is the restored relationship he has with his son, Memphis. He strives to remain humble and teachable, knowing that his new life is not about what he has done, but about what Christ continues to do through him.

Rev. Roy and Pat Johnson, Founders and CEO of Providence Ministries, bring with them over 25 years of dedicated service in Christian ministry. In 1985, they set up a pro-life pregnancy center that has assisted over 20,000 young women and girls. Also in 1985, they established a shelter for homeless men in Dalton, Georgia, which evolved into a comprehensive drug and alcohol recovery program known today as Our Master's Camp, located in Tennessee. They also expanded by launching a second men's shelter in Calhoun, Georgia. In 2012, they further extended their support services by founding Providence Women's Recovery, a drug and alcohol recovery program for women in northwest Georgia.

Providence Ministries now operates a furniture store in LaFayette and eight thrift stores across different locations, including Dalton, Dalton North, Calhoun, LaFayette, Rome, Summerville, and Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, and Chattanooga, Tennessee which helps fund services. Their headquarters is situated within a mission in Dalton, Georgia, offering dedicated homeless shelters for men and separate facilities for women and children. Additionally, they run a community kitchen that serves free hot meals three times a day every day of the week.

The latest outreach efforts, Our Master's Camp and Providence Women’s Recovery, provide addiction recovery programs in a serene private rural farm setting. Bro. Roy and Ms. Pat Johnson are proud parents of three children and are blessed with five grandchildren.
