Weekend Activities

Our weekends are intentionally designed to be less structured, giving our residents valuable free time to relax, connect, and recharge. Our peaceful 4-acre stocked pond offers a serene outdoor retreat—perfect for quiet reflection or bonding with fellow residents who share a love for nature.

Recognizing the vital role of family in recovery, we welcome visitation starting from the third weekend, providing opportunities for residents to rebuild and strengthen relationships with their loved ones.

Each Saturday, our men embark on a trip to town to attend a Christ-centered recovery meeting, a powerful source of hope and community. Afterward, they visit Walmart to purchase up to $40 worth of personal necessities, helping enhance their comfort and well-being during their stay. Sharing a meal together at a local restaurant further fosters friendships and mutual support. To keep focus on recovery, spending is carefully managed through the office, ensuring everyone’s needs are met responsibly.

Sundays are reserved for spiritual renewal, with morning and evening worship services at a local church featuring engaging praise and Gospel-centered preaching that inspires and uplifts.

Afternoon Lunch and Work Therapy

Structure and responsibility are vital components of the recovery journey. After lunch, our residents participate in a hands-on work therapy program designed to build accountability and practical workplace skills. This active involvement not only prepares men for a successful return to society but also helps maintain the smooth operation of our beautiful camp.

Our work therapy activities range from caring for animals, tending the garden and orchard, to maintaining camp facilities. Beyond the tasks themselves, this program cultivates teamwork, purpose, and personal growth. Whether you bring specialized skills or simply a willingness to learn, you’ll find a supportive community that values your contribution and encourages you to thrive.

We also recognize that personal connection is essential to healing. That’s why we dedicate afternoons to one-on-one counseling sessions with pastoral counselors and addiction specialists. These personalized meetings focus on each individual’s recovery journey, evaluating progress, addressing challenges, and setting clear steps toward lasting transformation. Our mission is to empower every man to build a strong foundation for a healthy, fulfilling life in recovery.

At Our Master’s Camp, education is a vital part of the recovery journey. In our supportive, Christ-centered environment, men engage in dynamic classroom sessions that explore both spiritual truths and practical recovery principles. Led by experienced professionals and seasoned faith leaders, these sessions offer powerful insights, interactive discussions, and inspiring messages from guest pastors.

Our goal is to equip each participant with the knowledge, encouragement, and biblical foundation needed to navigate recovery with confidence. Through this unique blend of education and spiritual growth, we’re building a community where healing happens, hope is restored, and lives are transformed.

Our Master's Camp Group Session

Peer Support Groups

We believe that recovery thrives in the strength of community. That’s why we’ve built a supportive, redemptive environment where men walk alongside one another on the journey to healing. Through peer support groups, participants find a safe space to connect, share openly, and draw encouragement from others who truly understand the struggles of addiction.

These meaningful connections foster a sense of belonging, accountability, and hope, reminding each man that he is not alone. In this brotherhood of shared experience, we work together to overcome challenges, celebrate growth, and pursue lasting transformation through faith and fellowship.
